StealthBudget ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the StealthBudget application ("the App").

1. Data Collection and Storage

StealthBudget is designed as a 100% offline, privacy-first application.

No Personal Data Collected: We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) to use the App.
Local Storage Only: All your financial data, including transactions, wallets, debts, and categories, are stored locally and securely on your personal device using an encrypted local database.
No Cloud Syncing by Default: Your data is never automatically uploaded, synced, or transmitted to any external servers, cloud providers, or third-party platforms.

2. Device Permissions

The App may request the following permissions to function correctly:

Camera/Photo Library: To scan receipts using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) or to scan QR codes for Peer-to-Peer (P2P) data transferring. Processing is done entirely on-device; images are never sent to external servers.
Local Network (LAN): To enable the P2P device synchronization feature (e.g., syncing data securely between your iPhone and iPad over the same Wi-Fi network). This does not use the open internet.

3. Third-Party Services

In-App Purchases: If you choose to upgrade to the PRO version, the transaction is processed securely through Apple’s App Store or Google Play Store. We do not have access to your credit card information.
Analytics/Tracking: We do not use third-party analytics (like Google Analytics or Firebase) or tracking SDKs to monitor your behavior within the App.

4. Data Security

Since all data resides on your device, the security of your information relies on your device’s security features (e.g., Passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID). We recommend keeping your device's OS updated and protecting it with a strong lock screen password.
